Laughlin is located between the Los Angeles Basin and Phoenix, just 90 miles south of Las Vegas., and is set in a rugged mountain terrain which gently slopes to the cool banks of the Colorado River. Laughlin is an easy drive from Las Vegas, Southern California of Arizona by car, bus or shuttle.

Laughlin Hotels are a gathering spot every year for Harley Davidson and Bull Riders for several days worth of partying and festivities that include rodeos, motorcycle rallys and fireworks. In March the Wrangler Pro Rodeo Tour comes to Laughlin for the Laughlin River Stampede, the wildest broncos and bulls buck their way into the record books during this featured stop along the tour. The last week of April, motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the United States and some from other countries, gather at the Laughlin Hotels for the Annual Laughlin River Run, The largest motorcycle event on the West Coast. Join us on July 4th for Rockets Over The River, a Laughlin tradition. View the fireworks at dusk over the Colorado River and listen to patriotic music simulcast by the casinos and local radio stations.

Laughlin, named in 1968 after its founder and owner of the Riverside resort, Don Laughlin, is known in the Southwest as a preferred alternative to Las Vegas. Laughlin delivers a picturesque river setting, an enjoyable pace, safe thoroughfares and a friendly atmosphere where visitors are recognized. You can even travel from Casino to Casino via water taxi along the river.

Lake Mohave/Lake Mead National Recreation Area - Lake Mead is formed by the Hoover Dam and is 110-miles long. Lake Mohave is 67 miles long and formed by the Davis Dam just outside of town heading tward .

Davis Dam is located just north of Laughlin on the Colorado River is Lake Mohave, Davis Dam is an earth and rock-filled structure designed to control flash floods and generate hydroelectric power.

Lake Havasu - Dubbed the "Personal Watercraft Capital of the World Lake Havasu is the home of the famous London Bridge. Brought over brick-by-brick from England and reassembled in 1971, it forms the central focus for an English Village with themed shops and restaurants.

Katherine Landing - Located on the southeast end of Lake Mohave near Davis Dam and Bullhead City, Arizona. Primary facilities include marina with launch ramp and boat shop, two motels and restaurant, swim beach, picnic shelters, amphitheater, campground, two trailer villages, store, gas station, ranger station, and comfort station.

Oatman - Wild burros roam the streets of this popular setting for many movies and TV Westerns.

Gold Road Mine Tour - Tour the 1900 mine at the Gold Roads, Arizona Mining Camp from the Old Gold Boom Days. Located 2½ miles East of Oatman, Arizona on Historical Route 66. Enjoy a safe and delightful guided tour of a real old time underground gold mine. The one hour experience is exciting for everyone, and "user friendly" for the physically challenged. Tours are scheduled every 30 minutes.
